Minik Bidstrup (b. 1990, Upernavik, Greenland) is a conceptual documentary photographer whose work explores themes of identity, resilience, and cultural memory. With a background in photojournalism and visual storytelling, he creates quiet, emotionally resonant images that blend poetic sensitivity with documentary intent. His practice often examines the tension between presence and absence, using minimalism and symbolism to evoke deeper reflections on belonging, place, and transformation. Rooted in lived experience and a careful observation of the world, Minik’s photographs offer a subtle, contemplative view of personal and collective histories unfolding in everyday life.
